UV DTF PRINTING

UV DTF stands for Ultraviolet Direct-to-Film. It is a modern printing method used to create high-detail, permanent 3D-effect stickers or decals by printing designs onto a special film using UV-cured inks, which are then applied to hard surfaces without requiring any heat press.

  • Design & Layering: Artwork is processed digitally. The printer lays down white ink for opacity, color ink, and a clear gloss varnish layer.
  • UV Curing: Built-in UV LED lamps hit the wet ink instantly. The light hardens and dries the ink on the release backing sheet (Film A).
  • Lamination: The printed Film A is combined with a transfer/top film (Film B) using a laminating tool or machine.
  • No Heat Press Needed: Applies instantly using simple hand pressure or a squeegee.
  • Complex Shapes: Conforms easily to curved, irregular, and cylindrical items.
  • Massive Material Variety: Sticks permanently to glass, metal, acrylic, wood, ceramics, and plastic.
  • Premium Texture: Produces a raised, tactile 3D effect with a glossy varnish finish.
  • No Weeding Required: Only the printed ink transfers, leaving no background film residue.
  • High Durability: Resists scratches, fading, and water, making it ideal for daily-use items.
